Vial Filling, Stoppering and Capping System
The TurboFil VERS 40 Vial Filling, Stoppering and Capping System is a flexible, automatic vial assembly solution designed for pharmaceutical, biotech, and cosmetic production environments. It integrates vial filling, stopper placement, and cap crimping or screw capping into a single compact platform, making it ideal for laboratories, clinical trials, pilot runs, and low to moderate volume production.
The VERS 40 accommodates vials ranging from 2 mL to 100 mL using universal format parts that allow fast changeovers without the need for size-specific change parts. This flexibility makes the system well suited for operations with frequent product or format changes.
Vials are transported through the system using a walking beam conveyor, ensuring accurate positioning at each station. The VERS 40 can be configured with multiple filling technologies, including peristaltic, piston, or gear pump systems, to match a wide range of product characteristics. After filling, vials are automatically advanced to stopper placement and capping stations, with options for servo-controlled screw capping, aluminum cap crimping, or vibratory bowl-fed cap handling.
All product contact parts are constructed from 316 stainless steel and FDA-approved materials. Optional nitrogen insertion prior to filling or stoppering supports applications requiring inert gas environments. The system can also be configured for portable use within a laminar flow hood, allowing integration into controlled or cleanroom environments.
