Position summary:

The Bookkeeper/Office Manager will be responsible for full-cycle bookkeeping duties, payroll submissions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general office management as required. This role serves as an important point of customer contact, providing ongoing customer service, thorough problem solving, and careful follow-through.

We are looking for a responsible and adaptable team member who will enjoy a variety of duties from bookkeeping to vendor and customer interactions and will support our technical and marketing departments in various capacities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Record and pay accounts payable
  • Issue invoices to customers and collect and process payments
  • Interface with PEO and other providers for payroll, benefit plan, 401K, etc.
  • Create financial statements and related financial, sales and profitability reports
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers
  • Answer phone calls
  • Onboard new employees
  • Maintain purchasing and stock of office supplies.
  • Document procedures, processes, and policies.
  • Contribute to and/or complete special projects as assigned

Qualified candidates will have: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Business Administration Diploma preferred
  • 2-3 years bookkeeping experience
  • 1-2 years office admin experience
  • Strict attention to detail in technical specifications and written communication.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with staff and customers.
  • Strong math and accounting skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience with QuickBooks Accounting or similar accounting software
  • Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), Google Calendar, Gmail
  • Ability to multitask and complete tasks with minimal or no supervision

Work schedule and application details

Position summary:

We are seeking a responsible and adaptable Procurement Coordinator. The Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for supporting our engineering team by ensuring that the right material is at the right place, at the right time, at the most favorable cost.

The Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for all activities related to procurement, beginning with requests for quotations through delivery. They will work closely with team members and outside vendors to maintain timely purchasing and delivery of orders and accurate retention of records.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating, processing, and following up on purchase orders based on Bill of Materials
  • Building and maintaining vendor relationships
  • Maintaining a vendor base that will provide the highest quality materials for the lowest possible cost
  • Building and maintaining systems to streamline the procurement process
  • Processing returns on vendor parts
  • Maintaining the purchasing database and interfacing with the engineering department to account for all purchased materials
  • Performing additional related duties as required

Qualified candidates will have:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, or a related field preferred
  • Two to five years of purchasing experience (Technical products preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Position summary:

The Control Systems Engineer will lead the design, assembly, and troubleshooting of electrical systems for our automation projects.

Their work will focus on ground-up PLC programming, machine interface design, electrical motor control, robot programming, and industrial panel design. They have experience running, debugging, and optimizing automation machines, strong communication skills, close attention to detail, and love to learn on the job. 

The Control Systems Engineer will report to the Technical Director and work closely with our team of mechanical engineers and machine technicians.  

Responsibilities include:

  • Programming PLCs using Ladder Logic to perform various mechanical functions
  • Designing machine interfaces for custom filling systems
  • Programming a variety of sensors, vision systems, and robots to integrate into custom machines
  • Working with our controls engineers to design industrial panels for machine operation
  • Troubleshooting machine control systems to achieve smooth operation
  • Design electrical panels and document electrical schematics in Autocad
  • Working with Mechanical Engineers to feed back issues and improve overall designs
  • Working with the Project Manager to create and maintain project schedules, identify key milestones, and produce deliverables

Qualified candidates will have:  

  • A Bachelor’s degree and/or significant professional experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a closely related field
  • An understanding of modern industrial control disciplines including electric motor control, HMI design, PLC Programming, instrumentation, and robotics.
  • Experience with Allen Bradley software (Studio 5000) and state machine logic
  • Experience drafting electrical schematics (AutoCAD Electrical)
  • Electrical circuits knowledge including safety wiring, single and three-phase power, AC/DC voltage, and relay wiring
  • Knowledge of conduit routing, wiring, and panel layout
  • Experience with electrical component troubleshooting
  • Basic hands-on mechanical experience  

Exceptional candidates will have:  

  • 2+ years of experience drafting electrical schematics
  • Controls design experience in the packaging machine industry
  • Experience problem-solving and troubleshooting in a customer-facing role
  • Experience implementing design/process changes to ensure simple, functional, and cost-effective results.
  • Experience preparing user documentation and testing protocols

Work schedule and application details

This is a full-time, exempt position, with occasional evening and weekend work based on need. Occasional travel to help with startup and installation at customer sites is expected 3-4 times a year. The salary is $80,000 – $110,000 based on experience.

Their work will focus on conceptual and mechanical design and managing the fabrication and troubleshooting of custom machinery. They have experience designing machines (especially packaging systems!), strong communication skills, close attention to detail, and love to learn on the job.

The Mechanical Engineer will report to the Technical Director and work closely with our team of controls engineers and machine technicians. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Producing conceptual designs using SolidWorks, including risk identification and risk reduction plans
  • Creating detailed mechanical designs using SolidWorks, including tolerance analysis and design reviews
  • Troubleshooting machine prototypes at all stages of assembly to achieve smooth operation
  • Creating fabrication and assembly drawings including related user documentation
  • Supporting machine assembly and assisting controls engineers with integration and testing
  • Working with the Project Manager to create and maintain project schedules, identify key milestones, and produce deliverables
  • Writing SOPs for user manuals and validation documentation

Qualified candidates will have:  

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
  • Experience in mechanical design for automation equipment
  • Working knowledge of metal fabrication processes, especially machining and sheet metal forming processes
  • Experience designing parts with aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and plastics
  • Proficiency in 3D solid modeling with preferred experience in SolidWorks CAD software and SolidWorks Enterprise PDM
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Exceptional candidates will have:  

  • 2+ years of experience with SolidWorks CAD software and SolidWorks Enterprise PDM
  • Mechanical design experience in the packaging machine industry

The Machine Assembly Mechanic will report to the Project Manager and work closely with our team of engineers and machine technicians. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Assembling custom machinery based on 3D schematics including mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components
  • Identifying, tracking and resolving issues that arise during assembly
  • Light machining
  • Troubleshooting machine prototypes at all stages of assembly to achieve smooth operation
  • Maintaining an orderly work environment

Qualified candidates will have:  

  • Experience in machine assembly (including mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components)
  • Experience in operation of automation equipment
  • Working knowledge of metal fabrication processes, especially machining and sheet metal forming processes
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team 

Exceptional candidates will have:
